Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM) has officially opened a new pump station on Tuesday.

While the pump station, “Easy Fill 3” was opened in capital city Malé’s suburbs, Hulhumalé, it was inaugurated by Hulhumalé constituency MP Ali Niyaz.

MP Niyaz stated that they are always working to pave efficient ways for the people to attain daily services, safely.

He expressed his certainty that the new pump station by the leading oil and petroleum importer and service provider in the country, will provide easy and safe services to the residents in Hulhumalé.

Further, Niyaz said that he believes the opening of the new pump station will benefit fishermen as well, having expressed his gratitude for the government and state companies for introducing such positive changes.

Managing Director of FSM, Mohamed Gasam stressed that although they will face some difficulties in providing services for vessels due to the shed structure, the company is seeking to expand their storage space through discussions with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC). As such, they are in discussions to establish a storage near the pump station so as to pave way for efficiency.

The ceremony was joined by State Trading Organization (STO)’s Managing Director Hussain Amru and HDC’s Managing Director Suhail.

FSM is a subsidiary company of STO.
