A 76-year-old woman is being treated after failing into an air duct of a building in the capital.

Police said that she had fallen from the fourth floor of a building in the Maafannu ward of the city.

She was taken to Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for treatment.

She is to have broken bones in both legs in the fall, and sustained injuries to her head.

Police continues to investigate the case.
