President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is to head to Singapore on an official visit later this month.

RaajjeMV understands that the decision was made after having received an invitation from the Singaporean government.

While the president is expected to depart to Singapore on June 29, First Lady Fazna Ahmed will accompany him on the trip.

However, the President’s Office is yet to confirm the trip. Details of such visits are normally publicized 'as per agreed by both nations.'

While this will be the president’s first official trip to the Southeast Asian nation, he had traveled there in February this year.
