Foreign dignitaries have called on President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on the sidelines of the Maldives Partnership Forum on Monday.
During the meeting with Serbian Minister of Labour, Zoran Djordjevic, President Solih assured that the Maldives takes its labor obligations seriously and that the welfare of the working population is paramount to his administration.
In the meeting with the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for the UNDP, Haoling Xu, he expressed gratitude for the valuable work of the institution in the Maldives, which he said has been a great boon to the country's socio-economic development.
In his meeting with Assistant Secretary-General for the United Nations Office for Projects and Services, Vitaly Vanshelboim, Prsident Solih expressed appreciation for the many valuable services the institution he represents provides for the Maldives - especially with regard to enhancing Maldives’ water security.
