Govt. extends Get Set Loan application

Ministry of Economic Development has extended the application period for the MVR 25 million Get Set program.
Previously, the application period was from the 16th to the 27th of this month. However, this has been extended to the 18th of this month, as per an announcement released by the Ministry. The Ministry said the application period was extended so as to allow maximum number of applicants to send in their applications.
In the first round of the scheme, a total of MVR 25 million was disbursed to 74 applicants.
The loan scheme is open to youth between the ages of 18 and 35 and grants loans between MVR 300,000 and MVR 800,000.
Applications will be accepted on weekdays from 10am to 2pm.
