Chief of Defence Force Abdulla Shamaal left for Hawaii, United States on Sunday to join the Land Forces of the Pacific Symposium and Exposition (LANPAC 2019).

The event is held annually by the Association of the United States Army.

The event focuses on the Indo-Pacific theater and their contributions to peace and war and brings together government and industry representatives in the region.

Sergeant Major Hassan Fayaz joins the Defence Chief on the trip.
