The National Counter-Terrorism Center (NCTC) has launched a hotline for the public to anonymously share information related to terrorism.
In a tweet on Friday, NCTC asked that anyone who wish to share information or concerns call 1615 or email [email protected].
NCTC stated that the personal information of those who contact them will be kept confidential.

NCTC is mandated to coordinate counter terrorism and counter violent extremism efforts of the Maldives.
It was established through Presidential Decree on February 25, 2016 after the ratification of the new Prevention of Terrorism Act in 2015 and is under the direct supervision of the defence ministry.
