Vote for AP’s Mahibadhoo candidate is vote for government: President

A vote for Adhaalath Party (AP)’s ADh. Mahibadhoo candidate Ali Azim is a vote for the government, says President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
Speaking at candidate Azim’s campaign event on Friday, President Solih praised him for being part of their reform efforts from the beginning.
President Solih urged citizens to think carefully before casting their votes since their decision involves the whole country. He said that islands have been deprived of basic services due to the corruption within the previous administration, but assured that his government will provide the services.
He said that the government will soon begin projects to build 12 new classrooms, reclaim land, develop the roads, and improve waste management in Mahibadhoo. In Hangnaameedhoo, the government will develop sewerage and water supply systems and upgrade its harbor, he said, adding that the government will also be developing sewerage and water supply systems in Kunburudhoo and solve the issue of beach erosion.
