Government will fulfill all pledges, assures Defence Minister
She highlighted that 83 percent of its 100-day pledges have been fulfilled

Defence Minister Mariya Didi has said that the government does not take its work lightly and will fulfill all of its pledges.
The Defence Minister said this while speaking at the campaign event for MDP’s parliamentary candidate for Fulidhoo, Mabrouq Abdul Azeez.
Speaking at the event, Minister Mariya said that none of the government’s pledges were made lightly and highlighted that 83 percent of its 100-day pledges have been fulfilled.
Minister Mariya praised candidate Mabrouq for his integrity and courage and said that the government can only fulfill its pledges quickly if voters elect young people such as him into parliament.
She also criticized former President Abdulla Yameen for cracking down on free speech and political freedoms in the country, and noted the number of times the state authorities fined RaajjeTV for airing content critical of his administration.
