First Lady Fazna Ahmed has attended Thaajudheen School's 30th anniversary celebrations, on Saturday.

As such, the First Lady took part in the 'Thaaj Anniversary run' and the 'Thaaj special function' organized by the school on Saturday morning.

While the running event began from the Social Center in Maafannu-ward of capital city Malé, the special function followed in Henveiru Stadium.

Alongside First Lady Fazna, a vast number of alumni students of the school as well as school staff had participated in the gathering.

The First Lady awarded a plaque of appreciation to employees of the school who had served for a period between 20-25 years during the function.

Also at the function, First Lady Fazna had launched the Anniversary Magazine of Thaajudheen School.

Further, a special quiz was also held during the event.

First opened in 1989, Thaajudheen School teaches in single sessions for students enrolled for grades 1 – 10.
