President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has laid the foundation stone for the multi-purpose hall at the school in R. Alifushi.

President Solih laid the foundation stone with the Alifushi School principal at a ceremony on Saturday.

Those who participated in the ceremony include Alifushi MP Mohamed Hussain Rasheed and Raa Atoll Council President Ali Shahid.

MVR one million have been allocated in this year’s budget for the multi-purpose hall.

The council has stated that the hall will be built before the start of the second semester.
