President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has received a warm welcome in R. Alifushi on Friday.

He was welcomed by the locals as well as Alifushi MP Mohamed Hussain Rasheed, the Raa Atoll Council, and Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s parliamentary candidates.

Upon his arrival, President Solih took photos with Alifushi residents at the harbor and is set to lay the foundation for the multi-purpose hall at the Alifushi school.

Later in the evening, the President inaugurated MDP’s parliamentary campaign for Alifushi.

He will later be heading to Shaviyani atoll to inaugurate the campaigns of the MDP candidates in those constituencies.
