South Galolhu candidate Mickail Naseem has received death threats and has had his campaign sites vandalized.
The attackers ripped out the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) candidate’s posters and broke the windows of his two campaign sites.
Mickail, the President of MDP’s youth wing, said he had been receiving constant death threats before the attackers vandalized his campaign office and that this happened as he was showing the police the destroyed banners at another site.
After stealing billboards, destroying banners and sending constant death threats tonight, they have finally attacked our campaign office in Galolhu Dhekunu.
