Maldives Police Service (MPS) has arrested four in connection to a gang violence in Faresmaathodaa island of Gaaf Dhaal atoll.

According to MPS, a group of residents from two separate districts had gotten into a dispute on Sunday night, where a four attacked a 21-year-old and fled the island.

They were arrested on Monday night from Nadella in the same atoll.

Police had made the arrests under a court order.

RaajjeMV understands that the 21-year-old is in stable condition and did not attain serious injuries due to the assault.
