President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have on Saturday arrived back to Maldives upon the conclusion of their unofficial visit to Singapore.
The first couple departed to Singapore on the 27th of February on a three-day unofficial trip, the President’s Office revealed.
President Solih’s first state visit was to India was in December, followed up by a state visit to Sri Lanka in January to join their Independence Day celebrations, as their guest of honor.
RaajjeMV understands that before leaving, President Solih had urged his cabinet to assist pass the bill on giving more legal authority to Presidential inquiry commissions, which has been at a standstill in the People’s Majlis.
