India’s popular low-cost budget airline IndiGo is soon to begin operating flights from Pune to Maldives.

IndiGo expanded its services by announcing decision to operate flights between Pune, India and Maldives to commence by the end of March.

Indian news outlet “The Times of India” reports that the transit flight halts in Bengaluru before heading its way to the Maldives.

While this Is IndiGo’s first international flight from Pune, it will be an early morning flight, scheduled to take off at 5am and to arrive within 10 hours, reports Times of India.

The airline, having begun flights to Maldives on the 15th of November 2018, currently offers travel between Maldives and Cochin, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

There are daily flights between Male’ and Cochin while flights from Male’ to Mumbai are scheduled five days a week. Further, flights between Male’ and Bengaluru are scheduled twice a week.

Pune has become the fourth destination IndiGo is to begin operating flights to and from the Maldives.

The airline revealed that bookings may be made through their website and flyers have options to choose low-cost business class seats in the 130-seat flights.
