Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives International Culinary Challenge and Exhibition 2017 has begun.
One of the largest exhibitions of the hospitality industry in the South-East Asia region was opened on Tuesday in Dharubaaruge by Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed.
Saeed said hosting this exhibition in the Maldives was a boost for the country to progress in that sector. He assured the Government will always support such initiatives.
The exhibition will be held from the 8th to the 10th of this month.
Over 530 exhibitors took part in this year’s exhibition. This year’s exhibition features a barista competition, bed making competition, International Culinary Challenge, mocktail challenge as well as workshops and industrial seminars.
This is the fourth year FHAM is organized by Sri Lanka’s CDC and Dhivehi Expo. The event’s main sponsor is Lily International.
