PNC leader praises President for ‘positive’ meeting
Opposition coalition members met the President to discuss the detention of former President Yameen

Opposition People’s National Congress (PNC) President Abdul Raheem Abdulla has praised President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih for his ‘positive’ answers during their meeting.
Parliament members of the opposition coalition met with President Solih at the President’s Office on Sunday over the detention of former President Abdulla Yameen.
Speaking to the media outside the President’s Office, Abdul Raheem said he received positive answers from the President during their meeting.
Highlighting that the meeting was brisk, Abdul Raheem said President Solih listened to their concerns and assured that he would attend to them.
He also said that he will disclose details of the meeting at a later press conference.
