Maldivian Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi has on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with counter-terrorism organization Hedayah.
The MOU pertains to collaboration, primarily in Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, between the United Arab Emirates’ Hedayah and Maldives’ National Counter-Terrorism Centre.
The agreement was signed between Hedayah chairman Ali Al Nuaimi and Minister Mariya, at an event attended by Hedayah’s director, Maqsoud Kruse and senior officials of the UAE government.
This is the second such MOU that Maldives signs within the week, Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid on Thursday signed an agreement on aviation security with the United States of America.
