EC opens opportunity to re-register for parliamentary election
Voters will be unable to change their voting location after the voter’s list is publicized

Elections Commission (EC) has opened the opportunity for voters to re-register for the upcoming parliamentary election.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, EC spokesperson Ahmed Akram said that they will be accepting re-registration applications until March 2.
Voters will be unable to change their voting location after the voter’s list is publicized.
EC has held discussions with Maldives Association of Tourism Industries (MATI) and the tourism ministry, to place ballot boxes at resorts.
EC stated that they will place ballot boxes in resorts, industrial islands, and prisons if they receive 50 re-registration applications for that particular location.
