Mohamed Hussain Fulhu, the father of RaajjeTV’s News Director, Husham Mohamed, has passed away.

Hussain Fulhu, also the uncle of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, passed away at 85, on Monday afternoon.

His burial was carried out at Aasahara after sundown, at the absence of the President as he is out of country on an official visit to Sri Lanka.

Following his passing, former President Mohamed Nasheed had taken to twitter, expressing his grief as well as support for the family of the late Hussain Fulhu, known to be a great poet and teacher as well as for his services to the nation.

“He especially served the country faithfully,” wrote Nasheed.
