Popular television hosts Moosa Waseem and Hassan Ziyau have resigned from their position after being appointed to new posts.
Waseem has been appointed as Public Relations and Communications Manager at Maldives national airline, Maldivian, while Ziyau was appointed as Director of Media and Communications at the parliament.
Maldivian revealed Waseem's appointment via twitter on Sunday.

Famous for his skilled presentation, Waseem spent 13 years at Television Maldives (TVM), even hosting popular television show Maldivian Idol for three years.
Ziyau, also a television host, took to twitter announcing his resignation as Manager at state media PSM on Sunday.
I've resigned from my post as Manager at PSM and have joined @mvpeoplesmajlis as Director of Media & Com.
