President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with member of Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP)’s national council on Monday.
The meeting took place at the official presidential residence, Mulee-aage, on Monday night.
Some members of MDP’s national council shared photos from the meeting, via social media.
However, they did not disclose details of the meeting.
This was President Solih’s first meeting with the party’s national council members since assuming office on November 17.
MDP’s national council met earlier this month, where it decided to compete in all 87 constituencies in next year’s parliamentary elections.
