The President’s Office has on Monday publicized a form that individuals who were unfairly fired former President Abdulla Yameen's administration may fill out in order to get reinstated.
The opportunity was opened for every individual who was unfairly fired, wronged, or who had unwarranted measures taken against them during Yameen’s five-year term, to submit their complaints to the President’s Office within 30 days.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has revealed that work will begin to reinstate unfairly fired employees to their original positions within the first 100 days of his inauguration, and has established a committee to look into the matter.
The forms will be available at the President’s Office’s front desk as well as through its official website.
President Solih’s 100-day agenda states that all employees who have been unfairly dismissed will be reinstated and those who were transferred to other positions will be given their original positions.
It is also notable that the new government will be making relevant amendments to the state salary framework through the pay commission.
