Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official visit.
The Minister headed to the Gulf kingdom after concluding his trip to India.
The Maldives Embassy in the UAE stated that Minister Shahid will be holding discussions on strengthening the relationship between the two countries.

In his trip to India, Minister Shahid met with Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj and discussed cooperating on various fields as well as India assisting Maldives in some areas.
