Newly sworn in president's cabinet of ministers take oath of office
The Solih administration has a total of 19 ministries

Maldives' newly sworn in president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's cabinet of ministers have taken their oath of office on Saturday. 

The oathing ceremony began at about 19:30 at the President's Office, shortly after President Solih took his own oath of office earlier this evening. 

  1. Attorney General – Ibrahim Riffath
  2. Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Abdulla Shahid
  3. Ministry of Defence – Mariya Ahmed Didi
  4. Ministry of Home Affairs – Sheikh Imran Abdulla
  5. Ministry of Finance and Treasury – Ibrahim Ameer
  6. Ministry of Higher Education – Dr. Ibrahim Hassan
  7. Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure – Mohamed Aslam
  8. Ministry of Communication Science and Technology – Mohamed Maleeh Jamaal
  9. Ministry of Health – Abdulla Ameen
  10. Ministry of Education – Aishath Ali
  11. Ministry of Tourism – Ali Waheed
  12. Ministry of Economic Development – Fayyaz Ismail
  13. Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture – Zaha Waheed
  14. Ministry of Islamic Affairs – Ahmed Zahir
  15. Ministry of Housing and Urban Development – Aminath Aathifa
  16. Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Community Empowerment – Ahmed Mahloof

The Solih administration, with a total of 19 ministries, has established five new ones; Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Heritage, Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, Ministry of Communication Science and Technology, and Ministry of National Planning and Infrastructure.
