RaajjeMV has received information that President Abdulla Yameen sought treatment at Senahiya military hospital.
The outgoing president came in for treatment at around 9:30pm on Friday and had come earlier in the day as well.
RaajjeMV has been unable to confirm the details of his treatment but understands that his health is fine.
The president’s office spokesperson has ignored repeated phone calls from this news station and President Yameen has refused to comment.
During his term, President Yameen had denied repeated accusations of hiding serious health issues.
