Minister Muizzu accused opposition members of being more interested in voting to spread other religions in the country

The senior politicians of the soon-to-be ruling parties encourage the spread of Christianity and Atheism in Maldives, accuses Housing Minister Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

He said this in a press conference held on Thursday to address accusations that the ministry is not distributing land in Hulhumale’ Phase II fairly.

Answering a question from a journalist at the press conference, Minister Muizzu accused opposition members of being disinterested in the truth and being more interested in voting to spread other religions in the country.

He also denied acting in anyway that might lead to an investigation from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), and that the corruption case was filed by President Abdulla Yameen’s political rivals who are not interested in the truth.

Many have condemned the Minister’s controversial statement on social media.

If there is a talk that some maldivian people are Christian than there must be some truth to it. Otherwise yameen and his fanatical goons won't be barking about it.
