A Supreme Court order should have the name and signatures of the justices endorsing it, former Attorney General Dhiyana Saeed has said.
In a tweet on Friday, Dhiyana said that a Supreme Court order would be difficult to enforce without any name or signature of a justice.
Supreme Courtun amureh neruvvanee nama e amuru neruvvumah ninmevi fandiyaarunge nanfulhaa soi e amuruga himenenjehey. Ehen noon nama eyee sahha amurehkamah balaigathumah dhathivaane.

She said this after the apex court nullified the Elections Commission (EC)’s recent decision to re-seat 12 MPs. The court’s order did not have any name or signature.
Replying to her tweet, Kendhoo MP Ali Hussain said that it is a requirement for Supreme Court orders to have the signatures of the justices.
