Maldives central bank, Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA)’s Governor Ahmed Naseer pays a courtesy call on President-elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday morning.
RaajjeMV understands that the meeting took place at Salt Café and Restaurant at 10:30 a.m Thursday.
While Governor Naseer has met with Solih after his momentous win in the Presidential poll held on Sunday, several top officials from state ministries have met and continue to do so within the past week. As such, Acting Chief Commissioner of Police Abdulla Nawaz had also met with Solih on the 25th of September.
This meeting took place at a time the MMA has issued for the Maldives Police Service (MPS) to investigate a money laundering case against incumbent President Abdulla Yameen.
President Yameen had also held a meeting with Solih at the President’s Office on Monday morning.
