Police seen taking an individual into custody late Thursday night
A young man was stabbed in capital Malé City late Thursday night.
The attack took place in the Henveiru ward of the city, near Veligaa Hardware shop at around 12:30am.
Local media reports indicate that a group of three had attacked an individual walking on the street, stabbing him straight in the neck.
He was taken to hospital for treatment immediately.
While police is currently investigating the attack, reports indicate that a suspect has been arrested as well.
However, police is yet to issue an official word on the matter.
