Respected Maldivian doctor “Maavaa” Mohamed Manik dies

Respected Maldivian doctor “Maavaa” Mohamed Manik of G. Kashmir has died.
The family confirmed that Dr. Manik died on Wednesday at the age of 85 while being treated for a heart condition at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
He has been working in the medical field for over 43 years, providing local as well as conventional medical services at M.M.M. Medi Clinic, which he had run.
Dr. Manik had also taught traditional medical techniques to others.
The viewing of Dr. Manik is from 4pm to 6pm at Aasaharaa cemetery and his funeral prayer will be at the Islamic Center after the Isha prayer.
His family has asked that everyone join in the funeral prayer.
