Police pouring out confiscated alcoholic substances
R. Ungoofaaru police station has destroyed its confiscated alcohol bottles and cans.
The confiscated items were destroyed on July 4 inside the station’s courtyard.
The items consist of 289 bottles of different brands and 108 beer cans.
The bottles were taken from tourists at the Ifuru domestic airport in 11 different incidents between 2016 and 2018, say police.
The items were destroyed under the supervision of the relevant police committee.
