Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has begun a campaign to elect First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim as President Abdulla Yameen’s running mate.
Twitter handle RaeesYameen2018 on Friday tweeted its support of First Lady as vice president.
Velidhoo MP Yamin Rasheed and ruling parties have also tweeted their support of her as the running mate.
Responding to MP Rasheed’s tweet, South-Galolhu MP Ahmed Mahloof tweeted that she was the most qualified to be the running mate of “Dictator Yameen.”
