Boat capsizes near Thodddoo
The five individuals onboard had been trasferred to a sea ambulance travelling in the direction at the time it was reported and are in good health

A boat carrying concrete and construction sand has capsized, with five crew members onboard. 

No injuries have been reported in the incident.

Crew of Thoddoo island's "Ramzu" boat had assisted the five crew members- a local and four expatriates.

A crew member of "Ramzu" saidt that the incident had occurred about five miles out of Thoddoo around sundown, with the boat turning on it's side slowly before fully capsizing.

The boat, from Himandhoo island of Alif Alif atoll, had been travelling to Soneva Fushi resort in Baa atollfrom capital city Male'.

The crew member further said that the sea had been rough in that area, and that it had been exceedingly rough when the boat was capsized.

According to Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF), the freighter vessel "Mas Nanu" had capsized three miles from Thoddoo and appealed on those travelling in that direction to be wary of floating freightage.

MNDF said that it's Maritime Rescue Cordination Center (MRCC) had received information of the submerging 95 foot freight boat at around 7:12pm on Sunday.
