First Lady Fathmath Ibrahim has visited several households in capital city Male' to observe the living conditions of citizens.

The First Lady had on Monday visited a few households in Mahchangoalhi ward of capital city Male' and conferred gifts to residents under the Sadaqat Foundation, founded by First Lady Fathmath Ibrahim.

It is not clear on what exactly the gifts were.

According to information received by RaajjeMV, all 10 households visited by the First Lady supports opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

Speaking to some media outlets, Spokesperson of President Yameen's Campaign Office and the President's Office Ibrahim Muaz Ali said that the First Lady's has planned to visit all districts of the capital city under her "Emme Gaathun" campaign which translates to "at the closest", adding that she will not give heed to which party the residents follow and support.
