The defence force has begun a search for two children that disappeared after going for a swim in Addu City’s Koattey.

The defence force said they began the search after receiving a report of three missing children.

One of them, a boy, has been found and is receiving treatment at Hithathoo Regional Hospital. The 16-year-old is in stable condition and is under observation.

Coast Guard divers are currently searching for the other two, informs the defence force.
