Police and Customs officials arrived at Fun Island Resort with a court order on Saturday.

RaajjeMV understands that a 10-man team arrived in the resort at around 2:45pm. Additional officers are at the scene as well, according to reports.

The search order was issued at 1:30am on Saturday, following allegations that the resort had illegally obtained liquor from the Customs bonded warehouse.

Similar to previous court orders, this was also requested by Customs. The order allows authorities to conduct the search every day for 18 hours starting at 6:00am.

Two cases of liquor were confiscated in an earlier search of the resort on Friday.

Five resorts of Villa group were searched on Wednesday and Friday.

The police have said that Customs officials are conducting the search, while officers are providing them security.
