Five individuals injured in Malé City accident

The accident occurred on the outskirts of the city

Five individuals have been injured in a road accident in Malé City early on Friday.

The accident was reported to the police at around 1:50 AM, and officers said that none of those involved had sustained any serious injuries.

However, three of them had been treated at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

A speeding motorcycle had lost control and crashed into a parked motorcycle and a group of people standing by it.

The accident occurred in front of the military base Kalhuthukkalaa Koshi, which is on the outskirts of the city, on Malé’s only road lain with tar.
