MATATO's guesthouse awards to be held on 30th October

The Maldives Travel Awards: Guesthouse Edition 2017 will be held on 30th October, organizers have said.

Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) said that the event will be held in Maafushi island of Kaafu Atoll.

Organizations nominated for the awards will be judged based on reviews and voters from the public. 40 percent of the marks will come from ‘TripAdvisor’ reviews while 60 percent will be passed on online and mobile voting.

Awards will be given in 15 categories, of which three are special recognition awards given out by the organization itself. Voters can cast for the remaining 12 categories.
