BML Honors Top Performing Employees
Bank of Maldives has held the company’s Staff Night 2017 to honor exceptional staff at the Bank.
The event was held in Dharubaaruge.
Exceptional staff were chosen for the awards of Employee of the Year, Best Leader, Best Manager, Best Divisional Staff, Volunteer Service, Sports Spirit, Recognition for Achievement, Innovation, Unsung Champion, Customer Service Star, Rising Star, Best Atoll Employee, Best Dhoni Staf, Best Male’ Branch, Best Atoll Branch, Best Team and CEO’s Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Badruddin Hassan of Retail Banking Division was chosen as Employee of the Year, while Card Services division’s Abdul Aleem Abdul Ghafoor was chosen as Best Leader. Dhilma Ahmed of Credits division and Ibrahim Mohamed Rasheed of Marketing won the CEO’s Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Special Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Hidhaya Ahmed of the Retail Banking division, who will be retiring this year after 28 years of service to the bank. The award was handed over by Bank’s CEO Andrew Healy and Executive Committee members.
Speaking about the Staff Awards, CEO and Managing Director Andrew Healy said the bank was in a stable position at the moment and therefore must recognize the efforts of those who had made this possible. He added that it was a pleasure for him to recognize this and congratulated those who had won and been nominated for the Awards.
