Renowned Maldivian chef Maha Naseer has been honored with the "Top Outstanding Master Chef Award of Maldives Cuisine" at the World Top Gourmet Awards 2024, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Renowned chefs and prominent figures from the global culinary industry gathered for a prestigious ceremony held on October 22 at the Andaman Grand Ballroom in Kuala Lumpur.
Chef Maha, who also serves as a board member of the Visit Maldives corporation, earned the prestigious title of "Master Chef" from the Master Chef Society of the World in 2022. Furthermore, she is a continental judge for the World Association of Chefs' Societies, a globally recognized professional organization for chefs.
Initiated by World Gourmet Malaysia in 2017 to recognize outstanding achievements in the culinary industry, this year's awards were presented to a total of 108 recipients, including chefs, restaurants, and food brands.
