While key initiatives—including land reclamation, the construction of a school multipurpose hall, and upgrades to the health center—had previously come to a standstill, some of these projects have reportedly resumed following recent media coverage of the delays.

Residents of Dh. Hulhudheli have reported that work on two government projects has resumed following a two-year hiatus. This development comes after RaajjeTV visited the island to highlight the community's concerns regarding the stalled initiatives.
Two individuals who spoke on RaajjeTV’s "Haalu Kihineh?" program have expressed concern over the lack of progress on government projects initiated on their island. One resident highlighted that although the current administration launched seven different projects, no significant work has been carried out over the past two years.
Following a complete standstill of development projects on the island, RaajjeTV visited the site last October to bring the latest updates on these stalled initiatives to the public. Commending these efforts, he noted that after RaajjeTV highlighted the issue through television and social media, work on two of the projects has since resumed. Specifically, he pointed out that construction on the Hulhudheli School building has restarted, alongside the island's land reclamation project, both of which are now underway once again.
Furthermore, he noted that in response to concerns regarding the school's lack of a principal, an individual has now been appointed to the position.
The Hulhudheli Island Council has shared concerns with RaajjeTV regarding the stalled construction of the school's multipurpose hall and the delay in utilizing air conditioning units installed under the 'Cool School' project, which remain out of use despite installation being complete. Additionally, the council expressed frustration over the halted progress of an outdoor gym project, which was initiated ahead of the recent Parliamentary and Local Council elections but has since seen no further development.
Furthermore, RaajjeTV has highlighted the delays in the construction of the Hulhudheli Police Post, as well as the lack of operational progress at the island's waste management center, despite it being handed over to WAMCO a year and a half ago.
RaajjeTV has provided detailed coverage regarding the fallen flags placed to demarcate the Hulhudheli land reclamation site ahead of the council elections. The station also reported on the suspension of work on the island’s health center extension project, which has come to a standstill due to non-payment to the contractor. Additionally, RaajjeTV disclosed information concerning the stalled construction project of the island's mosque.
Speaking on the "Haalu Kihineh?" program, several members of the public highlighted and commended RaajjeTV’s ongoing efforts to keep the citizenry informed about development projects taking place across the Maldives.
