President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed departed for Singapore on an unofficial visit on Saturday night.

As this is a private, unofficial visit by the President and the First Lady, the President's Office has not disclosed further details regarding the trip. Additionally, no specific date has been announced for their return to the Maldives upon the conclusion of the visit.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has undertaken several unofficial trips to Singapore since assuming office. The President and the First Lady have made unofficial visits to Singapore on March 21, 2024; April 30, 2024; August 26, 2024; June 29, 2025; July 31, 2025; December 27, 2025; and May 24, 2026.
