President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated that joint investment projects between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia will significantly strengthen bilateral ties and further expand economic cooperation between the two nations in the future.
President Muizzu made these remarks in a congratulatory message sent to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on the occasion of Saudi Arabia's National Day.
In separate messages addressed to the King and the Crown Prince, the President highlighted Saudi Arabia as a consistently trusted and esteemed partner of the Maldives. He stated that the long-standing friendship between the two nations is rooted in a shared commitment to Islamic principles, as well as the welfare and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
