President appoints Tholal and Habeeb to the President's Office at ministerial level

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed former Sports Commissioner Mohamed Tholal and former State Minister for Housing Ahmed Habeeb to the President's Office at the ministerial level.
The President's Office has announced that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed two individuals to ministerial-level positions on Monday.
In this regard, Mohamed Tholal of G. Finivilu has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the President for Tertiary Health Services at the President's Office.
Furthermore, Ahmed Habeeb of Shifaa, GDh. Thinadhoo, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the President on Policy and Manifesto.
Habeeb was appointed to the post of Policy Secretary following the resignation of his predecessor, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, on September 14.
Prior to his appointment to the Tertiary Health Services post, Tholal served as the Commissioner of Sports. Furthermore, Tholal has held several key positions, including Senior Curriculum Developer at the Education Development Centre, Assistant Director General at the Elections Commission, and Technical Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Human Resources, Youth and Sports. He has also previously served as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.
Habeeb has previously served as the Minister of State for Housing and Infrastructure. Additionally, he has held the position of Manager at Villa Hakatha and served as the Deputy Manager of Kaadedhdhoo Airport under Villa Air.
