Government Seeks PR Firm for Heena Waleed's Ministry Amid Austerity Calls
The Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Heritage has opened a tender seeking a party to manage the media and public relations for all its subsidiary agencies over a two-year period. Interested parties are required to submit their proposals by July 14, 2026, for a scope of work that includes social media management, report preparation, and the execution of awareness programs. This announcement has drawn significant public attention, as it comes at a time when international financial institutions are urging the government to implement stringent cost-cutting measures.

The Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Heritage has announced a tender to recruit a public relations firm to manage the media and communications operations for all its subsidiary departments.
In an announcement issued on Sunday, the Ministry stated that it is seeking the services of a public relations firm to manage the media operations of all agencies under its jurisdiction. The Ministry further specified that the firm would be contracted for a period of two years.
Furthermore, the Ministry has requested that estimates be submitted by 11:30 a.m. on July 14, 2026.
Regarding its public relations efforts, the Ministry stated that PR activities must be carried out for all departments, divisions, programs, events, campaigns, and committees operating under its mandate.
Furthermore, the announcement stated that the responsibilities include organizing press conferences and strengthening relations with both local and international media outlets. The scope of work also involves preparing annual reports, managing social media accounts, and conducting public awareness programs related to the ministry's mandate.
