An encyclopedia could be written about the lies told by President Muizzu: Musthafa
Legal expert Musthafa Hameed has sharply criticized President Muizzu’s administration, alleging a lack of sincerity in addressing the country's undocumented migrant crisis. Raising concerns over the disappearance of data from the expatriate management server, Hameed pointed to serious allegations of bribery and corruption involving the Home Minister. Furthermore, he accused the administration of identity theft to artificially inflate ruling party membership numbers, concluding that there is little hope for national progress under the current leadership.

Legal counsel Musthafa Hameed has stated that an entire encyclopedia could be written on the falsehoods told by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, further alleging that the government's current efforts to address the issue of undocumented migrants is a major ongoing crime.
During Sunday night's "Fala Surukhee" program, attorney Musthafa delivered a scathing critique of President Muizzu's administration. Referring to the President's repeated falsehoods, Musthafa remarked that an entire encyclopedia could be written based on those lies.
Highlighting the issues the current administration is working to address, attorney Musthafa stated that there is a lack of sincere effort in resolving the expatriate crisis, describing the negligence as a criminal act.
In this regard, he highlighted the serious allegations leveled against Home Minister Ali Ihusaan by former Controller of Immigration Mohamed Shamaan. Musthafa noted that while accusations of bribery regarding expatriate quotas have surfaced, the disappearance of data from the expatriate survey is also a suspicious coincidence. He further stated that several businessmen have also claimed that quotas can be obtained through the payment of bribes.
Furthermore, Musthafa alleged that the identities of Maldivians have been stolen to inflate the membership numbers of the ruling People's National Congress (PNC). He asserted that as long as Minister Ihusaan remains in charge while facing such serious allegations, the country's undocumented migrant crisis will remain unresolved.
Under President Muizzu’s administration, a dedicated Ministry of Homeland Security was established, and the management of expatriate affairs was brought under its mandate. Since this transition, the Ministry—with significant personal emphasis from President Muizzu—has prioritized the documentation and identification of foreign nationals to monitor who is residing in the Maldives and the nature of their employment. Consequently, we witnessed foreign workers forming long queues to have their fingerprints and biometric data recorded. However, despite this data being collected and stored on the servers, it was subsequently lost. As a result, the entire process had to be repeated for a second time.Attorney at Law Musthafa Hameed
Musthafa stated that there is no hope for the country's situation to improve under the current administration.
Prior to assuming office, President Muizzu was portrayed as a dignified, well-mannered, and humble individual. However, he now appears to be the most scandalous figure within the Maldivian presidential palace since historical figures.
He stated that, consequently, solutions to the issues would not be achieved under such a leader.
