Dr. Ibrahim Didi has asserted that the resignation of high-ranking officials due to a lack of sound government policy is clear evidence of President Muizzu’s inability to govern. He highlighted that the public is facing immense hardship as essential services, such as medical treatment and student loans, are being disrupted while the cost of living continues to soar. Furthermore, Dr. Didi noted that the complete halt of development projects further demonstrates that the administration has lost its direction.

The former President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), Dr. Ibrahim Didi, has stated that the government's situation is deteriorating daily due to a lack of administrative direction and robust policies under President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s leadership.
Speaking on RaajjeTV’s "Fala Surukhee" program, Dr. Didi stated that even those currently serving alongside President Muizzu are now aware of his lack of leadership capability to govern the country.
Highlighting the internal friction within the administration, Didi stated that senior officials are increasingly distancing themselves from President Muizzu. He further noted that the frequent reshuffling of cabinet positions serves as clear evidence of the government's lack of stability and cohesion.
The government's situation is deteriorating by the day, a clear indication that President Muizzu lacks a coherent leadership style or robust policies. This reality is becoming increasingly apparent even to those within his inner circle. Didi described President Muizzu as being at a true "crossroads," attributing the situation to a lack of clear policy.
Furthermore, noting that public concern has escalated significantly, Didi stated that citizens are facing immense hardships in accessing essential services. In this regard, he highlighted the difficulties in obtaining medication through prescriptions and the distress faced by parents due to delays in the disbursement of student loans.
Highlighting the current economic challenges, Didi stated that the skyrocketing price of the dollar and the rising cost of goods are severely impacting the daily lives of ordinary citizens. He further characterized the suspension of development projects across the country as a clear indication of the government's incompetence.
In his remarks, Didi focused heavily on the government's loss of direction and its failure to fulfill the promises made to the public. He sharply criticized the administration's performance, asserting that the root cause of these issues is President Muizzu's lack of sound policies.
