Two people have sustained serious injuries following a dangerous maritime accident involving a speedboat carrying two passengers.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) reported that the Coast Guard Second Squadron of the Male’ Area Command has provided emergency assistance following an accident involving a speedboat named "Tour Guard," which was traveling with two people on board.

Providing further details, the MNDF stated that the speedboat was en route from Villingili to Gili Lankanfushi. Authorities received reports of the accident while the vessel was still in close proximity to Villingili.
